ANC benefitted from ‘proceeds of corruption’, says Zondo as he pushes for 3 radical reforms

The ANC has always insisted that it was “not on trial at the State Capture Inquiry, but the first set of findings made by the commission paint a damning picture of how the ruling party abused the government tender system to enrich itself and its allies.

“It is a matter of extreme concern that the evidence given at the commission establishes a link between the corrupt grant of tenders and political party financing,” the inquiry’s reports states.
